All team members have a legal right to a workplace free from sexual harassment, and Allied Wellness Collective is committed to maintaining a workplace free from sexual harassment.
Per New York State Law, Allied Wellness Collective has a sexual harassment prevention policy in place that protects you. This policy applies to all team members, paid or unpaid interns and third-parties in our workplace. You are receiving this notice, as required by law, either at the time of hiring or during your annual sexual harassment prevention training.
If you believe you have been subjected to or witnessed sexual harassment, you are encouraged to report the harassment to a supervisor, team leader or AWC Leadership so we can take action.
New York State has long been committed to ensuring that all individuals have an equal opportunity to enjoy a fair, safe and productive work environment. Laws and policies help ensure that diversity is respected and that everyone can enjoy the privileges of working in New York State. Preventing sexual harassment is critical to our continued success. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. This means any harassing behavior will be investigated and the perpetrator or perpetrators will be told to stop. It also means that disciplinary action may be taken, if appropriate. If the behavior is sufficiently serious, disciplinary action may include termination. Repeated behavior, especially after an employee has been told to stop, is particularly serious and will be dealt with accordingly. This interactive training will help you better understand what is considered sexual harassment. It will also show you how to report sexual harassment in our workplace, as well as your options for reporting workplace sexual harassment to external state and federal agencies that enforce anti-discrimination laws.
The IPA's Sexual Harassment Prevention & Reporting Policy may be requested from your team leader or AWC Leadership or at the link below. Every new team member is also provided with the policy within 30 days of hire. The policy, including any updates, is shared with every team member at least once per year.
The company's Sexual Harassment Complaint Form may be found on the IPA's Google Drive or at the link below.
All Allied Wellness Collective team members are required to complete sexual harassment prevention and reporting training when joining the AWC team and then once each year. AWC's training consists of the following video followed by a questionnaire, which includes an opportunity to submit questions and feedback to AWC Leadership.
If you have been notified that you must complete the Sexual Harassment Prevention and Reporting training, please watch the following video and then complete the questionnaire below the video. AWC Leadership will be notified when you submit your answers. If you included any questions or feedback, a member of the AWC leadership team will reach out to you.
